CM Punjab launched Dhee Rani Program to ensure combine marriages of deserving and under-privileged females of Punjab. This program is aimed to help needy family fulfil the sacred socio-religious obligation.
This program will be conducted on district level. Local administration and Assistant commissioner of relevant district will be responsible for its transparency and smoothness.
Maryam Nawaz announced various other programs including Honhar scholarship program, school nutrition program etc.
Dhee Rani Program 2024
This program will be organized by Government of Punjab with help of local authorities including Deputy Director Social Welfare and Assistant Commissioner of relevant district.
Registration/application process is started now. Last date to apply is November 09, 2024. The application can be submitted online or in DD office of Social Welfare of respective district.

Features of this program
Money Gift
Cash money of Rs.1,00,000 will be provided to bride as wedding gift and can be withdrawn through ATM of BOP.
Wedding Ceremony
Combine wedding ceremony will be held for all the selected applicants across Punjab. Lunch will be provided to guests.
Wedding Dowry
Dowry of worth Rs. 206,000 including Holy Quran, wooden bed, mattress, mirror, dinner set, prayer mat etc will be provided to each bride
Selection process and conduct of event
- Online/In-person Applications will be accepted till November 09, 2024.
- After application closure, verification process will begin through Tehsil verification Committee.
- Program steering committee will grant approval after counter verification lead by Grievance Office.
- Once list is final, selected applicants will be informed through SMS.
- After selection, applicant will be instructed to open account in Bank of Punjab, amount will be transferred directly to bank account, biometric verification will be done, ATM will be provided
- Main event venue and date will be informed through SMS to respective families.
- NADRA certification will be provided post-wedding and couple will be informed through SMS.
